Matchday Information: Chelsea (A)

3 January 2024

If you’re one of the 6,000 PNE fans heading to Stamford Bridge this weekend, take a look through the important information below.

Tickets Sold Out

Tickets for this fixture are completely sold out, meaning no refunds are available and there will be no tickets available to buy on the day.

There will also be none available to collect from Stamford Bridge, therefore tickets must be collected from the main Deepdale ticket office before 4pm on Friday 5th January.

District Line Tube Disruptions

Supporters should be aware that, due to engineering works on Saturday, the District Line of the London Underground will be closed between Parsons Green and Wimbledon.

There will be a service through Fulham Broadway – located just outside the stadium – before the game, however it will be greatly reduced.

From 30 minutes prior to the final whistle, Fulham Broadway and West Brompton London Underground Stations will be closed and Parsons Green Station will be exit-only.

Fans using the Underground after the game are therefore advised to walk to Earl’s Court or Hammersmith, and access the network from those locations.

All journeys can be checked in advance by using Transport for London’s journey planner.

Supporter Behaviour

Supporters are reminded that strong measures are in place across football to help improve fan behaviour in the stands.

Stadium bans and criminal prosecution are potential consequences of dangerous and illegal crowd behaviour, including entering the pitch without permission, carrying or using smoke bombs or pyrotechnics, drug use, discriminatory chanting, and tragedy abuse.

Both Chelsea and PNE take all forms of discriminatory behaviour very seriously and believe all forms of discriminatory chanting, including antisemitism, homophobic, biphobic, racism, tragedy and transphobic chanting has no place in football, nor society.

You can report any form of abuse or anti-social behaviour by texting 88777 with stand, row, seat number, description of the offender and incident.

Entry Checks and Bag Policy

On arrival at Stamford Bridge, there is a queuing system where ticket checks, and body and bag checks take place. Explosive/narcotic/pyrotechnic detection dogs will be present throughout.

No bags larger than A4 size will be permitted into the stadium. This equates to 30cm x 20cm x 10cm about the size of a standard handbag.

Please be aware, there are no baggage deposit facilities available for any larger baggage items.

Turnstiles will be open two hours ahead of kick-off.

Supporter Coaches

As advertised when on sale, club coaches Deepdale 1 and Leyland 1 will both drop off and pick up supporters at Stamford Bridge, as they are accessible coaches.

All other coaches will be parked in the coach and minibus park which is located a 12-minute (0.5 miles) walk from the stadium.

Fans attending are advised to also read through Chelsea’s guide, which contains some additional information.
