Report Abuse, Discrimination And Anti-Social Behaviour At Deepdale

12 January 2024

Preston North End would like to remind supporters of ways they can report abuse, discrimination and anti-social behaviour at Deepdale.

The club are aware of reports of discriminatory behaviour by fans in the recent fixtures against Sheffield Wednesday and Chelsea.

Preston North End condemn this behaviour and have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to discrimination, abuse, foul and abusive language, and anti-social or threatening behaviour towards anyone in any stadium.

The best way to report such behaviour on a home matchday is to use the club’s text service, launched in April 2022.

Supporters can anonymously use the text service by texting ‘PNE’ to 66777 followed by the stand, row and seat number. For example, text “PNE I’m in the Alan Kelly Town End, row 10, seat 34. Person sitting directly in front of me shouting racist abuse,” to 66777.

The club will then make every effort to deal with the problem as quickly as possible and the person reporting the incident will not be identified at any time.

Preston North End will also be launching an initiative at this weekend’s fixture against Bristol City, which will see yellow cards placed in areas of the stadium where incidents such as these have been reported.

Supporters who are guilty of these behaviours will be liable to banning orders and serious sanctions, which are outlined here.

The club prides itself on providing an inclusive and family-friendly atmosphere at Deepdale and hopes these measures will help to enhance this.
