Ali McCann has been named in the Northern Ireland squad who will take on Romania and Scotland during the March international break.
It’s the first time since September 2023 that Ali has been called up by his country, due to the injury which saw him miss nearly two months of the campaign.
On the cards for he and his teammates is a trip to Bucharest to take on Romania at 7.45pm on Friday 22nd March, before facing Scotland closer to home at Hampden Park on Tuesday 26th March (7.45pm).
Despite a disappointing EURO 2024 qualifying campaign, Michael O’Neill’s side had a fantastic 2-0 victory over Denmark in their last outing.
For Ali, it’s a chance to add to his 20 caps for his country in the final international break of the season.
