North End then marked the tenth anniversary of Sir Tom Finney’s passing with a 2-1 victory at Deepdale over Middlesbrough, while a few days later came from two down to draw in a Lancashire derby against Blackburn Rovers.
PNE finished the month by racing into a three-goal lead away at Play-Off hunting Coventry City, and held on to close the gap to the top six.
The gaffer is up against Martí Cifuentes, Daniel Farke and Liam Rosenior for the award, with the winner set to be announced on Friday 8th March.
