Ticketmaster Become North End’s New Ticketing Provider

Preston North End are delighted to announce a partnership with Ticketmaster who will become the club’s new ticketing provider ahead of the 2024/25 season.

A globally recognised market leader in providing ticketing software and a variety of new technologies, Ticketmaster will provide the club with a brand-new and flexible ticketing system with impressive functionality to enhance and simplify the supporter buying journey, whether that be online or in person via the ticket office.

  • There will now be provision for accessible tickets to be purchased online. This is something the football club hasn’t been able to offer previously so it will prove to be a huge improvement for our disabled supporters and their carers.

 

  • There will be more flexibility for supporters to ‘self-serve’ online should they wish, with options for seat exchanges and ticket upgrades now available online as well as in-person at the ticket office.

 

  • Supporters can now use Apple Pay when buying online.

 

  • There will once again be a finance offering for season cards, but the details of which are still being finalised and further communications on this will be announced within the next few days.

Commenting on the new year partnership, Preston North End’s Finance Director Kevin Abbott said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Ticketmaster Sport who will be providing our new ticketing platform going forward. With enhancements to the online buying journey for supporters and a more flexible operating platform, we’re looking forward to working with Ticketmaster Sport to provide an improved all round supporter experience.”

Ahead of season cards going on sale tomorrow (Monday) morning, supporters will be required to activate their existing accounts for buying online or for accessing their account online, and they can do so via this link: www.eticketing.co.uk/pne

There will be a new hosted website which will look somewhat different to the previous website but will still be accessed via www.mypne.com in due course.

2024/25 season cards will go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Monday 13th May) and they are available to purchase online from www.eticketing.co.uk/pne, over the phone, or in-person via the ticket office.

The early bird pricing period begins tomorrow (Monday) and adult season cards will be available from just £294.

Ticketmaster FAQs

Does the partnership between Preston North End and Ticketmaster mean fans will have to go to Ticketmaster.co.uk to purchase tickets?

No. Supporters who purchase online, over the phone or in person can continue to do so through the same channels. There will be a new hosted website which will look a bit different but will still be accessed via www.mypne.com in due course.

If I have a problem with my ticket, will I have to contact Ticketmaster’s customer service?

No. Supporters will continue to contact the ticket office at Preston North End for any ticketing queries.

What changes will I see on the new ticketing platform?

As mentioned above supporters will see a change to the online buying journey, with a new look website and enhanced supporter experience with fans having the ability to ‘self-serve’ and have greater control over their ticketing. This will include seat exchanges and upgrades being available online.

The move to Ticketmaster will also see accessible tickets be available to purchase online for the first time.  

Will I need to change my Preston North End ticketing account log-in details?

Your unique member number will remain the same. You will need to activate your existing account on the new website, https://www.eticketing.co.uk/pne and set a new password, with steps of how to do this available earlier in the article.

If I have forgotten my password, will I be able to change it?

Yes, reset password options will be embedded in the platform.

Will I need a Ticketmaster account?

No, you do not need an account with Ticketmaster. Simply activate your existing PNE ticket account for buying online.

Can I still buy tickets for my friends and family?

Yes. ‘My Network’ is a feature of your online account which allows you to manage the accounts of friends or family members.

Once a supporter has been added to your network, you will be able to purchase and ‘assign’ tickets to their account. There is also the added functionality to allow your friend or family member to ‘manage’ your tickets, which will give them further access to manage your season ticket renewal or reserved cup tickets for example.

Existing friends and family information will remain on accounts. Please visit the ‘My Network’ section of your online account to review and update your network accordingly.

Will my funds on my MyPNE Wallet be transferred?

Yes. Any remaining credit on your previous MyPNE Wallet will remain on account and will be available to spend on tickets going forward.

Will my previous purchases be visible on my account?

Only season ticket data from the 2023/24 will be visible. Ambassadors and Gold Ambassadors are still identified, as well as those who have a previous purchase history with us.

Will my saved card still be saved on my account?

No. You will need to save your payment details again when purchasing online.

Will I be charged a booking fee for purchasing a ticket?

A 50p per ticket admin fee will be introduced for the 2024/25 season, which will be applicable to all tickets purchased online. This fee is a cost incurred from the ticketing platform and is not a profit-making charge. Please note this does not apply to season tickets.

Will I still be able to renew my season ticket via finance?

Yes. Full details of the finance option will be announced in the coming days.

Will I still accrue loyalty points upon purchasing tickets?

Yes, the same loyalty points scheme will be in place for the 2024/25 season.

Will my existing season card or member card still be valid for next season?

Existing cards will no longer be valid. The club will provide a further update on the issue of new season cards, as well as options for access on a match-by-match basis, closer to the start of the new campaign.
