Study And Play Football At PNE: Education Open Evening On Monday

29 August 2019

The Preston North End Community and Education Trust are holding an education open evening on Monday 2nd September, both for those still deliberating over their academic future for 2019/20, and those looking at our programmes for this time next year.

Staff members from the community department's education team will be on hand to discuss what the programme is all about on Monday, from 6pm until 7pm inside the community offices at Deepdale, which are situated at the back of the Alan Kelly Town End.

The community department's education programmes allow students to represent Preston North End by playing football and futsal in a regional league format while studying for a Level Two or Level Three Sport and Exercise Extended Diploma.

Those looking at what they would like to study for the 2020/21 academic year are encouraged to attend, as well as those still thinking about their education options for the forthcoming year, with North End's education programmes set to begin next week.

A number of students enrolled on the programme for the 2019/20 academic year last week on GCSE Results Day, holding aloft the Lilywhites shirt at Deepdale as part of their experience, and we are still open to speaking to those yet to decide what they will study for this year.
