Youngsters at the Preston North End Community and Education Trust’s summer soccer school and activity zone are in for a treat tomorrow with a handful of Lilywhites first teamers set to join in the action at the PNE Community Training Centre!
A couple of first team players will be heading down to PlayFootball at Ingol (PR2 3TX) on the afternoon of Thursday 8th August to sign autographs and pose for photos with the participating children.
Running from 9am until 4pm throughout the summer holidays, the community soccer school is led by fully qualified coaches and teachers possessing approved DBS checks. The programme allows children to remain active and develop their social skills during the summer break.
Also carried out at PlayFootball, the community’s activity zone programme offers a holiday provision with less of a focus on football; instead engaging children in arts and crafts and other sporting activities.
Both the soccer school and activity zone provide affordable childcare plans for parents working during the school holidays.
Prices range from £12 a day, £40 for a four-day week or £50 for a five-day week, and £150 for any selected 15 days before Friday 30th August; the final day of both the soccer school and activity zone.
The programmes run from Monday to Friday and weekends and bank holidays are excluded from all plan options.
Both the soccer school and activity zone are open to children aged five to 14. Children can be dropped off no earlier than 8.30am and picked up no later than 4.30pm.
If your child would like to meet some of Preston North End’s first team players, make sure they are at PlayFootball tomorrow to discover the identity of our special guests!
Please note that all player appearances are subject to their availability and where permitting around training schedules, which can sometimes be altered at late notice.
Likewise, there is a small possibility that players can become unavailable to make an appearance at short notice.
