Sellers Needed For Half-Time Draw Lottery

12 August 2019

The Preston North End Community and Education Trust are looking for confident and outgoing individuals to sell lottery tickets for the half-time draw on home matchdays.

Sellers must be available to work the majority of home games during the 2019/20 season and will be required to start work from two hours before kick-off on a matchday.

Successful candidates will be friendly, personable and willing to approach people. No experience or training is necessary for the role and multiple positions are available.

Sellers will be situated around the ground, including in the stadium concourses and in hospitality suites. In return, a set fee plus commission, as well as a free ticket to watch the game, will be offered.

All funds generated will be now put back into the community and education trust, which has taken over the running of the matchday lottery scheme.

This will aid in the running of the trust’s many charitable initiatives, which include programmes such as walking football, activities in schools for primary children and even our upcoming Big Sleep Out in aid of the homeless in Preston.

There will be a number of prizes up for grabs each match, with the top offering a cash prize of at least £250, while there are also prizes of a pair of hospitality tickets to any* home match in the Sir Tom Finney Lounge along with signed Preston North End shirts and footballs.

Tickets for the half-time draw cost just £1 and there is no limit on the number which can be purchased by supporters.

Contributing to the half-time draw fund not only allows fans to be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes, but means they are directly assisting the charitable initiatives of the Community and Education Trust.
