Louis Moult will be showing his support for the Big PNE Sleep Out next Friday by welcoming participants into the stadium concourse for registration.
The Preston North End striker will be making an appearance at the fundraising event, which has a £50,000 target for the Foxton Centre to buy a house for homeless people, having visited the Preston-based charity and shown his support for the appeal during this year.
The Sleep Out is edging ever closer, taking place next week on Friday 15th November with more than 250 people signed up to take part in the fundraising effort.
Now that registration to participate in the Sleep out has closed, Louis has encouraged the people of Preston and further afield to donate to the cause as much as possible.
“I just wanted first of all to thank everybody that’s already donated to the Big PNE Sleep Out on Friday 15th November, which is next week,” Louis said. “We’ve raised £16,000 already, we’re trying to get to that magic £50,000 number.
“To those that haven’t [donated], please get involved and try to help out, it’s for a great cause. I’ll be there on the night to welcome everybody and personally say ‘Thank you’, so it would be fantastic to get some more donations in between now and [next] Friday.
“Thank you to everyone that’s supporting the cause, it means a great deal to everyone in the community and everyone at Preston North End.
“We’re doing very well on the pitch at the minute, hopefully we can carry on off it and support the local community.”
Due to his injury, Louis won’t be staying overnight for the Sleep Out, but will be around as registration takes place.
