Coaches And Players Wanted In Preston North End Women's FC Junior Set-up

21 August 2020

Preston North End Women's Juniors FC is seeking coaches and players to join their set-up for the 2020/21 season.

PNE Women’s Juniors is an FA Chartered Standard Club with a direct pathway for players to progress through to the Preston North End Women's FC open age team.

All women's teams fall under the branch of Preston North End Women's FC with staffing and resources support provided by Preston North End Community and Education Trust.

The Women's Junior teams compete in the West Lancashire Girls’ Football League and Greater Manchester Girls’ U18s League.

Coaches

All coaches encourage girls in the ethics of good team work, to play football in a good spirit, to respect their opponents and match officials and to conduct themselves in a good sporting manner at all times.

Training is on a Thursday evening at UCLan Sports Arena while matches are played on Saturday mornings, with the occasional Sunday morning game.

As well as being able to commit to training and matches, prospective coaches should be reliable, honest, communicative and able to work well within the team. They must also hold a Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football and have their own transport.

In return PNE Women’s Juniors will support continual professional development via our Coaches’ Sponsorship Agreement.

Players

PNE Women's Juniors have teams from U9 to U18 level. Players are particularly needed at U9, U10 and U13 level.

Aspiring coaches and players should contact PNE Women's Juniors FC Club Secretary, Muriel Freeman, by emailing mufreeman@btinternet.com. Coaches are asked to send to a CV.
