Education Open Evening On Thursday

16 January 2020

Preston North End Community and Education Trust are holding an open evening next week for Year 10 and 11 students looking to explore their future education options.

Our community department will be opening its offices from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 23rd January, where education staff will be able to offer advice and information about the education courses on offer for the Trust.

Post-16 students at the Community and Education Trust can study a Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Sport and Exercise. The Level 3 qualification is the equivalent of three A-Levels.

Pupils have the chance to move onto the Community Football Coaching foundation degree, once they have completed the Level 3 diploma. This is offered by the Trust in partnership with the University of South Wales.

Aspiring foundation degree students are welcome to attend the opening evening too, with those who have completed or are set to complete A-Levels or a BTEC qualification elsewhere able to move straight onto the foundation degree course at Preston North End.

While studying at PNE, students from both the Sport and Exercise Diploma and foundation degree courses will represent the club through playing football and futsal.

If you’re unable to attend the open evening, you can submit an enquiry form here to arrange a potential meeting with staff from our education team. Alternatively, we will have another open evening coming up next month.

For more information about any of our education programmes or courses, or to register your interest in attending an open evening or studying with the club, please contact PNE Community and Education Trust by calling 01772 693309 or emailing education@pne.com.
