Another week delivering PNECET Helping Hampers has come to a close with a total of more than 800 having now been delivered since the campaign began at the end of April.
This week saw the beginning of deliveries to residents of the Fishwick and St Matthew’s wards of Preston following a successful grant application to the Local Trust to work alongside the Friends of Fishwick and St Matthew’s on the deliveries.
🧺 We have been awarded a new grant working with Friends of Fishwick and St Matthew's to deliver #PNECET Helping Hampers to @FishwickStMatts residents!

As part of the new grant, we have been able to deliver Helping Hampers to participants from our PL Kicks sessions residing in these areas and their families!
Furthermore, deliveries have made to some of our local partner primary schools, this week including St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, situated in the St Matthew’s area itself, for pupils and their families.
The grant follows further funding having been received, of course from the playing squad and management right at the start of the campaign, with grants from the Lancashire Covid-19 Community Support Fund and the Martin Lewis Community Fund also received.
This has allowed for the continued deliveries to our elderly and vulnerable season ticket holders as well as those nominated upon request.
