More than 300 PNECET Helping Hampers have now been delivered in the first three weeks of the club and the Trust's joint campaign.

Launched by the Preston North End first team squad and management last month, who themselves donated thousands of pounds to kick off the campaign, PNECET Helping Hampers are being delivered to vulnerable members of the community to support them amidst the Coronavirus crisis.

Trust Awarded £5,000 Grant For Helping Hampers Campaign

20 April 2020

Hampers have also been funded through a grant from the Lancashire COVID-19 Community Support Fund and the National Emergencies Trust and contain a range of essential foods, drinks and toiletries, as well as reading materials such as matchday programmes, the Trust's annual Impact Report, puzzle books and exercise sheets.

Among those to receive a hamper have been members of the Trust's Sporting Memories, PNE Forces and walking football programmes, elderly Preston North End season ticket holders and vulnerable members of the community who have been nominated for a hamper.

One of the recipients in week three was Jean Preston, from whom we received this wonderful letter of thanks which you can find below!

If you know someone you believe would benefit from a PNECET Helping Hamper, you can nominate them by emailing community@pne.com.
