Preston North End Community and Education Trust is running a Summer Holiday Camp, including a Soccer School and Activity Zone, for primary school children from Monday 19th July until Thursday 26th August.
The Summer Holiday Camp will be running from 9am until 3pm daily at the PNE Community Training Centre, with the earliest drop-off time 8.30am, and the latest pick-up time 3.30pm. The camp will not run on Friday 27th August due to staff training.
The Summer Holiday Camp gives primary school children aged five to 11-years-old the chance to play football during half-term – under the guidance of fully qualified and DBS-checked PNECET coaches – and provides an affordable childcare option for parents and guardians.
Meanwhile, those wanting to attend Activity Zone will experience a range of activities, including arts and crafts and multi-sport activities for children to enjoy.
Covid-19 measures have been implemented to ensure the Holiday Camp is safe for both children and PNECET staff.

All children will have their temperature checked with an infrared thermometer upon arrival and those with temperatures above 37.6 °C will be unable to attend. If you, your child or anyone else in your household has Covid-19 symptoms, please do not attend.
A clear one-way system will be in place for drop-off and pick-up points at all sites. Parents or guardians should avoid waiting in groups and adhere to social distancing measures.
Handwashing stations and facilities will be available at all times of the day for children, with all equipment to be sanitised before each session throughout the day.
Children will be split into social bubbles according to their age and will not be able to mix with other bubbles on the camp.
Trainers must be worn and children must have suitable clothing for indoor and outdoor facilities. Children must also bring a packed lunch, including a snack for break, and labelled water bottle. Soft drinks are not permitted.
Pre-booking is essential, with limited spaces remaining and walk-ins unavailable due to Covid-19 measures. Five-day, four-day and one-day bookings are all available; priced at £50, £40 and £12, respectively.
Payment must be made over the phone by 4pm at the latest on the day prior to your child’s arrival on the camp. Block bookings for the first week of camp, week commencing Monday 19th July, must be made by no later than 4pm on Friday 16th July.
Bookings can be made by calling 01772 693309 between 9am and 4pm and once your child’s place is confirmed, payment must be made over the phone. Cash payments and payments on the day are unavailable due to Covid-19 measures.
