Preston North End Community and Education Trust is running an Easter Soccer School from Monday 29th March until Friday 9th April, excluding bank holidays.
The Soccer School will be running from 9am until 3pm daily over the course of the two weeks at the PNE Community Training Centre at PlayFootball, Ingol, with the earliest drop-off time 8.30am, and the latest pick-up time 3.30pm. The camp will not run on Good Friday, 2nd April or Easter Monday, 5th April.
Soccer School gives primary school children aged five to 11-years-old the chance to play football during half-term under the guidance of fully qualified and DBS-checked PNECET coaches, while providing an affordable childcare option for parents and guardians.
COVID-19 measurements have been implemented to ensure the camp is safe for both children and PNECET staff.
All children will have their temperature checked with an infrared thermometer upon arrival and those with temperatures above 37.6 °C will be unable to attend. If you, your child or anyone else in your household has COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend.
A clear one-way system will be in place for drop-off and pick-up points. Parents or guardians should avoid waiting in groups and adhere to social distancing measures.
Handwashing stations and facilities will be available at all times of the day for children, with all equipment to be sanitised before each session throughout the day.
Children will be split into social bubbles according to their age and will not be able to mix with other bubbles on the camp.
Trainers must be worn and children must have suitable clothing for outdoor facilities. Children must also bring a packed lunch and labelled water bottle. Soft drinks will not be permitted.
Pre-booking is essential, with limited spaces remaining and walk-ins unavailable due to COVID-19 measures. Four-day block bookings and one-day bookings are both available, with a four-day booking priced at £40 and one-day bookings priced at £12.
Payment must be made over the phone by 4pm at the latest on the day prior to your child’s arrival on the camp. Bookings for the first week of Soccer School must be made by no later than 4pm on Friday 26th March.
Bookings can be made by calling 01772 693309 between 9am and 4pm and once your child’s place is confirmed, payment must be made over the phone. Cash payments and payments on the day are unavailable due to COVID-19 measures.
