Leasing Options To Sponsor PL Kicks Programme

9 November 2021

Leasing Options will sponsor Preston North End Community and Education Trust’s [PNECET] Premier League Kicks programme, providing free football sessions for eight to 18-year-olds in Preston, as part of its recently agreed partnership with Preston North End Football Club.

Thanks to the support of Leasing Options, the UK’s leading car leasing company, more PL Kicks sessions will be delivered by PNECET every week while covering more wards across Preston.

New sessions will be delivered in partnership with the Community Gateway Association in a new ward of Preston.

Leasing Options branding will now appear on all PL Kicks bibs worn by participants within sessions and on PNECET social media posts relating to the Kicks programme.

PNECET Head of Community Engagement Rebecca Robertson said: “We’re really excited to be expanding our PL Kicks programme and offering more opportunities for young people to access free football sessions across Preston.

“The support from Leasing Options is absolutely fantastic and will allow us to provide our participants with new equipment while delivering further sessions in Preston and reach young people who might not previously have accessed our provision.

“We aim to create safer, stronger and more resilient communities through the power of the Preston North End brand across our provision, and we will be only helped in doing that by reaching more young people across Preston through our expanded PL Kicks offer.

“We’re extremely thankful to Leasing Options for their support and look forward to working together more on our Kicks offer going forward.”

Mike Thompson, chief operating officer at Leasing Options added: “Supporting grassroots sports is really important to us and we’re delighted to be sponsoring the incredible work Preston North End Community and Education Trust’s (PNECET) Premier League Kicks programme does and to be able to help extend it to even more young people across Preston.”
