Preston North End Women's Junior FC's U14s side have reached the South Manchester League Challenge Cup Final!
The girls fended off the league leaders in their division, Hazel Grove, with a penalty shoot out win after a goalless draw in normal time.
The final will be played next month, on a date yet to be determined, at Wythenshawe Amateurs' Holly Edge Park.
Preston North End Women's FC are supported by Preston North End Community and Education Trust [PNECET] with staffing and resourcing support, with PNECET staff member, Sagwati Malabi, Schools Provision Officer, also coach of the U14s alongside PNEWFC first team player Alisha Houghton.
The success follows that of the U12s team who reached the Lancashire FA County Cup Final at their age group last month, with their final to be played against Myerscough Junior FDC at the County Ground on Saturday 30 April with a 1pm kick-off.
