The latest ‘Class of the Week’ rewarded complimentary match tickets by Preston North End Community and Education Trust [PNECET] was a Year 2 class from Ribbleton Avenue Infants’ School as they spent their Good Friday at Deepdale!
Class of the Week rewards a deserving primary school class, whether for their achievements in the classroom, in a PE lesson or outside of school, by providing each pupil with a complimentary ticket for them and an adult to watch PNE at Deepdale.
Hundreds of children have now been welcomed to Deepdale under the initiative since its launch in January this year.
The Ribbleton Avenue Infants class have been rewarded for the hard work they have shown in practising their dance skills in their lessons with PNECET, delivered as part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme.
Schools Provision Officer Olivia Parkinson said: “I’m really pleased that the Ribbleton Avenue Infants’ School pupils are being rewarded through the Class of the Week initiative.
“The pupils have recently been tasked with practising what is a really challenging dance routine. However, they have shown a brilliant attitude in their lessons to continue working hard and improving their skills.
“We have seen definite progress over the weeks and for the pupils to be able to watch Preston North End at Deepdale – particularly being a school just around the corner from Deepdale – is a fantastic reward for that determination to improve.”
