Preston North End Women continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 5-0 win against Morecambe Ladies.
The game started evenly with both sides trying to get a foot hole in the game. North End created chances but the Morecambe keeper kept the opportunities out.
Both Hadley and Askam went close before North End opened the scoring in the 27th minute. A well worked move saw Collins drive down the left and centre a great ball into the middle for Greenwood to slot home.
That goal seemed to settle PNE and they went further ahead just two minutes later. Playing out from defence, a good passing move saw Hadley add a second before the half-hour mark.
A few more chances were created before the break, but the home 'keeper continued to keep PNE at bay with a good performance between the sticks.
In the second half, the Lilywhites started quickly again, and two minutes after the restart, Askam scored her first of the season with a fine run and finish.
North End continued to press and eight minutes later Katie Woodhead slotted home the fourth.
With possession being the focus, PNE knocked the ball around well, frustrating the home side. This resulted in PNE's fifth and Askam's second goal of the night, with another mazy run and neat finish.
North End saw the game out from there and were rewarded with a first three points on the road this season.
