Preston North End Community and Education Trust [PNECET] is running its Soccer School and Activity Zone provision during the Summer holidays, with bookings now being taken both over the phone and online.
The provision is running from Monday 25th July until Tuesday 30th August and is open to primary school children aged five to 11-years-old.
During week commencing Monday 29th August, the provision will run for one day only – on Tuesday 30th August – due to the late August Bank Holiday and the start of the new academic year within Lancashire schools. Our provision does not run on weekends.
Children can experience an exciting range of football activities at Soccer School, with football training drills, skills games and small-sided matches among participants, who are split into groups according to age.
Meanwhile, the Activity Zone includes multi-sports games and arts and crafts activities for children to enjoy. Our provision runs with the support of PNECET’s fully qualified and DBS checked staff.
Children who attend either provision must wear trainers and have suitable clothing for both indoor and outdoor facilities. Children must also bring a packed lunch and labelled water bottle. Soft drinks are not permitted.
Those taking part in the Soccer School provision can wear trainers or astro-turf moulds, but not studded football boots. Shin pads are also required.
One-day bookings are available at £12 per day, while it’s £50 per full-week booking, and you can now book online as well as over the phone.
A discounted rate of £10 per day is also available for Blue Light Card holders, with proof of your Blue Light Card membership required to be shown on the first day of your booking.
There is also a weekly discount of 20 per cent for Blue Light Card holders – for example, a five-day week is discounted to the price of £40, or a four-day week to the price of £32.
Using the Official Soccer Schools website, you can now create an account which will retain the information of your child for future reference when making repeat bookings.
Bookings can be made up until 12 noon on the day prior to your selected dates, or by 12 noon on the previous day when selecting your booking to start on a Monday. Bookings for the first week of camp, unless full capacity is reached at an earlier time, will therefore close at 12 noon on Friday 22nd July.
