Grassroots teams can register their interest in Preston North End Community and Education Trust’s half-time penalty shoot out challenge for the 2022/23 season!
Up to four grassroots teams or primary school teams are invited to participate in the half-time penalty shoot out during the interval at every Preston North End home fixture at Deepdale.
Hundreds of children were able to grace the Deepdale turf through the initiative last season, including children from 20 Preston primary schools in a tournament that lasted the duration of the campaign that saw Sherwood Primary School crowned winners.
Grassroots teams were also involved and are again being invited to PR1 ahead of the new campaign for the chance to take half-time penalties.
The provision includes match tickets for up to 11 children, under the age of 16, and 13 accompanying adults for each team.
Places are allocated according to availability and teams cannot reserve a preferred fixture or swap their offered fixture to another date.
Due to high demand, there is no guarantee that every team that registers an interest will be granted a place to take part in the provision next season.
