Preston North End Community and Education Trust [PNECET] at Preston North End FC is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Education Tutor to support with the delivery of the Centre of Sporting Excellence provision.

The Centre of Sporting Excellence offers various high-quality, technical education programmes offering level one to three in sport for 16 to 19-year-olds.

The programme currently has over 130 learners enrolled whom are enthusiastic to study multiple sporting disciplines and undertake unique work experience opportunities with both PNECET and Preston College.

The Centre of Sporting Excellence utilises the platform of Preston North End Football Club to provide learners a unique insight into a professional football club and the roles beyond the 90-minute game, exploring pathways to finding employment within the sports industry.

Learners have the opportunity to represent both PNECET and Preston College in competitive football fixtures against other professional clubs in national sports leagues. Those learners passionate about the industry roles are supported by our education team to gain experience with our four competitive teams.

The Education Tutor will be responsible for teaching high quality lessons across our Level one, two and three programmes.

The successful individual will work closely with the Curriculum Lead and further education team, whilst representing the brand of the Centre of Sporting Excellence - a bespoke and exciting long-term partnership with PNECET and Preston College.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the coaching and training of teams whilst providing work experience opportunities within the sports department.

PNECET has a holistic array of education provisions such as but not limited to; Premier League Primary Stars, Alternative Education Provision, Further Education, Higher Education and Traineeship programmes.

The successful candidate will be a member of the education department, utilising best practice to support the wider provisions, aiming to transition and support young people into education and employment.
