Having lost his father-in-law to diabetes in November 2022, Preston North End fan Will Miller is undertaking multiple fundraisers with the support of Preston North End Community and Education Trust [PNECET].
Will is raising as much money as possible for Diabetes UK, through a number of different initiatives:
- A charity boxing match at the Riva Showbar Preston on Saturday 8th April.
- A bucket collection at Deepdale before the PNE vs. Reading game on Easter Monday.
- A challenge which will see Will and his family attempt to sit on every seat in Deepdale, taking place in May.
- A family fun day at The Lonsdale Club in June.
Will said: "I am wanting to spread awareness to other families and other people that have diabetes, that may not be aware of how serious this condition is.
"I want to raise as much money as I possibly can to hopefully change the lives of many people.
"Thank you to Preston North End Community and Education Trust for helping to spread this awareness and for their support of my fundraising efforts."
