Together with Preston North End, Preston North End Community and Education Trust [PNECET] will be fundraising for victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake, before the home game against Luton Town on Wednesday 15th February.
The Turkey-Syria earthquake struck in the early hours of Monday 6th February at 7.8 magnitude, followed by another earthquake soon afterwards and over 60 aftershocks.
It is reported to have claimed more than 21,000 lives in Turkey and Syria, with the scale of destruction vast, and more details and information are still emerging.
Before the 7.45pm kick-off at Deepdale on Wednesday evening, PNECET staff will be based outside the fan zone with collection buckets, and supporters are encouraged to donate however much cash they can to help those in desperate need of life-saving support.
All proceeds will be donated to British Red Cross who are working with local partners in Turkey and Syria to help with the vital aid being provided to both countries.
All proceeds raised through the Trust’s Match Day Lottery will also be donated to the cause.
