Andy Boyle joined Preston North End on 1st January 2017 from Irish champions Dundalk.
The centre half made over 150 appearances for Dundalk, helping them to secure three consecutive Irish titles, as well as helping the side reach the group stages of the Europa League.
Boyle, who has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level, signed a two-and-a-half year contract at Deepdale.
The 25-year-old was called up by Martin O'Neill for the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Austria, along with team-mates Daryl Horgan and Aiden McGeady.
The move to PNE is Boyle's first away from Ireland, the Dublin-born defender previously playing for Shelbourne and University College Dublin, where he first signed as a professional.
In his first year at Dundalk in 2013, Boyle was awarded with the Players' Player of the Year award.
