Preston North End

Liverpool youngster Calvin Ramsay will join Preston North End on loan on 15th July 2023.

The 19-year-old became a Liverpool player in June 2022, joining for a multi-million pound fee from Aberdeen, where he had risen through the ranks before going on to become a first team regular.

Operating on the right of defence, Calvin made 39 appearances in all for the Dons and earned the Scottish Football Writers’ Association's Young Player of the Year award in the 2021/22 campaign, which was his first full season in professional football.

His move to Anfield followed, as did a call-up to the Scotland national team.

Calvin will now hope to make an impression at Deepdale during the 2023/24 campaign and follow in the footsteps of a long list of loanees who have hugely developed themselves with North End.
