Darnell Fisher was the fifth player to join PNE in the summer of 2017, agreeing a three-year deal at Deepdale, taking on the number 14 shirt.
Darnell arrived at North End for an undisclosed fee from relegated Rotherham, making 34 appearances in the Championship for The Millers.
The young full-back started his career at Celtic where he made 17 appearances, winning a Scottish Premier League title and a Scottish League Cup.
He then went out on loan to St Johnstone where he scored his first career goal and made 23 appearances during the loan spell.
A permanent switch to Rotherham followed where he signed a three-year deal.
