Tommy Spurr became manager Simon Grayson’s fourth signing of summer 2016, signing a three-year deal with the Club after leaving Blackburn Rovers.
Born in Leeds, the 28-year-old left-sided player began his career at Sheffield Wednesday, making over 200 appearances, across six years, before a spell at Doncaster Rovers where he was a League One title winner.
He joined Blackburn in 2013, making over 80 appearances, but turned down the offer of a new deal at Ewood Park to sign on the dotted line for North End.
Spurr came to Deepdale with Championship experience and will be looking for more regular game time during the 2017/18 campaign after making 20 appearances in all competitions last season.
