Layton Stewart made the permanent move from Liverpool in July 2023, signing a three-year deal at Deepdale.
The young striker had been with the Reds since the age of seven, progressing through the ranks and consistently scoring at each level of youth football.
Layton earned his professional debut for Liverpool in February 2020 in a Carabao Cup tie against Derby County.
His most recent campaign before joining North End was the 2022/23 Premier League 2 season, which saw him score 11 goals in 17 matches.
The striker described his move to Deepdale as a "big opportunity" for himself as he looks to gain more experience in a first team environment.
