Preston North End

Liam Millar joined Preston North End from Basel on a season-long loan on deadline day.

The 23-year-old, who came through the ranks with Liverpool, has made 98 appearances for his Swiss parent club, scoring on 13 occasions during that time.

He first joined Basel from the Reds in July 2021 and Liam became a key player, featuring in the UEFA Europa Conference League and the top flight in Switzerland.

The winger, who has been praised for his versatility, is also a regular for the Canada national team, with Liam having earned 21 caps by the time he became a PNE player.

Earlier in his career, Liam had loan spells with Kilmarnock and Charlton Athletic.
