Striker Lukas Nmecha joined PNE on deadline day in the summer of 2018, on loan from Premier League champions Manchester City.
The German-born centre forward has been with City since the age of eight, and made his senior debut for Pep Guardiola's side in the EFL Cup win over Leicester City in December 2017, a game in which he scored the third penalty in their victorious penalty shoot-out.
Nmecha made his Premier League debut in April 2018, as a late substitute against West Ham United, and was involved in several games during the 2018/19 pre-season your in the USA, competing in the 2018 International Champions Cup. The 19-year-old scored his first goal at first team level in a 3-2 win over a strong Bayern Munich side.
The youngster, who is highly thought of by City boss Guardiola, also played in Aidy Boothroyd’s Toulon Tournament winning young Lions squad in the summer of 2018 and will be looking to continue his progression through the ranks at international level.
