Striker Tom Cannon arrived on loan from Everton until the end of the season on 10th January 2023.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Toffees at the age of ten, signed for PNE for his first taste of Championship football.

Prior to his arrival at Deepdale, the forward had been scoring goals for fun with Everton’s U21s, while he had also been training regularly with their first team.

He made three senior appearances for Frank Lampard’s side during the first half of the 2022/23 campaign and, upon signing for North End, Tom said he was looking to gain as much experience as possible during his loan move.
