Troy Parrott joined Preston North End on loan from Tottenham Hotspur on 25th July 2022.
The 20-year-old put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with his parent club before securing his short-term future at Deepdale, where he will spend the 2022/23 season.
Troy scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 victory over Huddersfield Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup, and his first league goal was a bittersweet moment.
He netted late in a 3-2 victory over Norwich City, but immediately went down with a hamstring injury which would leave him sidelined for three months.
He arrived in Lancashire following a successful year in League One with MK Dons, where he hit double figures for the first time in his career.
Troy was already well familiar with many of his PNE teammates upon arrival, having spent time with the Republic of Ireland national team alongside the likes of Alan Browne and Robbie Brady, and he admitted they played a part in his decision to move to Deepdale.
