Eight years on from a loan spell at Deepdale, Will Keane returned to Preston North End on a permanent basis in July 2023.
The Republic of Ireland international forward made the move from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-year deal with North End.
Having netted 39 goals in the two campaigns prior to his arrival at Deepdale, Will admitted he was hoping to continue his fine scoring form in a white shirt.
He got off to a fantastic start, too, scoring in each of the opening two matches of the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
The highlight of his previous stint with PNE in 2015 was a fantastic solo goal he scored in a Lancashire derby against Burnley.
