Dana Amaral was rewarded at the end of a successful 2021/22 season with a one-year professional contract at Deepdale.
He was involved with the first team in pre-season, being included in the trip to Spain in July 2022, where he gained experience facing La Liga side Getafe in Alicante.
The central midfielder made 24 appearances for the U19s during the 2021/22 campaign as they won both league and cup.
His versatility meant he starred across the central midfield positions, as well as occasionally at right wing back, and his fierce tackling and astute positioning were huge assets for the young Lilywhites.
