Preston North End through and through, local lad Kian Taylor signed a professional contract at Deepdale in July 2023.
Having progressed through the ranks from an early age, Kian – who can play in defence or midfield – penned a two-year deal with the club and soon went on to make his professional debut.
After being named as a substitute in the opening match of the season against Bristol City, Kian made his senior bow in a Carabao Cup round one tie against Salford City.
That came after an impressive pre-season which saw him play in a number of positions, and he managed to get on the scoresheet against Bruno's Magpies in Spain and Bury at Gigg Lane.
Prior to his time with the first team, Kian had played a major role for the U19s in the 2021/22 league and cup winning campaign, before again being a key player the following term.
