John Lucas became PNE's Head of Physical Performance in May 2022, reuniting with Ryan Lowe.
John has previous experience of working under the manager at Bury FC and Plymouth Argyle, with the pair enjoying promotion with both clubs into League One.
He most recently worked with Salford City during the 2021/22 campaign, while he has also spent time at the Rugby Football Union as well as being a lecturer at the University of Bolton.
