Mike Pollitt was appointed as goalkeeping coach at PNE in July 2020 following the departure of Jonathan Gould.
Pollitt, who is a Lancastrian by birth, has been in the professional game for over 30 years both as a player and then a coach, having started at Manchester United.
Mike went on to make well over 500 career appearances in total for a host of clubs, including a ten year spell at Wigan Athletic in the Premier League before his retirement from playing.
He then joined the Latics' coaching staff before a move to another former club in Rotherham United and then later arriving at boyhood club Bolton Wanderers for a short spell before leaving at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
