Peter Murphy joined the Preston North End coaching staff during the 2023 pre-season training camp in Spain.
A former professional player who was forced to retire early through injury, Peter has gone on to gain plenty of experience in the world of coaching.
The former Accrington Stanley midfielder worked with the U18s, U23s and first team during an almost six-year stint with Wigan Athletic.
Now at PNE, Peter will have a particular focus on the set plays and development of the club's younger players.
