Mikey O’Neill enjoyed an outstanding 2021/22 campaign which culminated in him signing a professional deal, keeping him at Deepdale until 2024.

He scored 11 times in U19 matches, as well as grabbing many for the reserves in the Central League, which earnt him three senior appearances from the bench towards the end of the season.

O’Neill’s impressive technical skills and link-up play make him one of the most exciting prospects coming through the North End ranks.

Having already caught the eye of first team manager Ryan Lowe, the midfielder will be eager for more opportunities to impress in the senior squad during 2022/23.
