Oliver Lombard heads into the 2021/22 season after putting pen to paper on his first professional deal with the club.

The Chorley-born goalkeeper enjoyed a successful two years as a scholar, having previously appeared in youth team matchday squads while still a schoolboy, and was rewarded with a pro contract in May 2021.

Standing at 6’2”, Ollie is highly regarded by the Academy coaching staff, having signed at U15 level through the club’s goalkeeper development centre. He is also a keen cricketer and a former pupil of Balshaw’s Church of England High School in Leyland.
