Midfielder Ben Pringle has joined Grimsby Town on a season long loan.
The 29-year-old joins the League Two side and will team up with former PNE midfielder John Welsh who joined the Mariners in the summer after leaving North End at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
Ben spent the second half of last season on loan at Oldham Athletic, making a total of 15 appearances for the Latics. His last appearance for North End came in December 2016 in the 1-1 draw away at Nottingham Forest.
Pringle will be eligible for selection for Grimsby's League Two clash with Yeovil Town this weekend.
