With six players currently out on loan from the first team, we take a look at how they got on over the weekend.

Andy Boyle - Doncaster Rovers

Andy Boyle made his second start for Doncaster Rovers in their 2-2 draw away to Portsmouth at the weekend. The Irishman played the full 90 minutes as Rovers earned a point on the road. Darren Ferguson's side currently sit 14th and face Charlton Athletic at the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend.

Ben Pringle - Oldham Athletic

Midfielder Ben Pringle kept his place in the starting Xl for their home clash against Bradford City to make his sixth appearance for the Latics since joining them on loan last month. Richie Wellens' side earned a crucial three points with a 2-1 win over the Bantams to lift them to within one point closer to safety. Oldham face promotion chasing Blackburn Rovers this weekend at Ewood Park.

Callum Roberts - Skelmersdale United

Young goalkeeper Callum Roberts kept a cleansheet in Skelmersdale United's 0-0 draw against high-flying Bamber Bridge on Saturday. It was a second consecutive cleansheet for the 'keeper, the first coming in a 0-0 draw with Atherton Collieries. Roberts has made 15 appearances for the side since joining earlier this season, with Skelmersdale currently sitting 18th in The Evo-Stik North.

Eoin Doyle - Oldham Athletic

Striker Eoin Doyle joined Oldham Athletic on deadline day, but was unavailable for their clash with Bradford City through injury.

Kevin O'Connor - Fleetwood Town

Kevin O'Connor was in action for Fleetwood Town in their 3-2 defeat at home to Scunthorpe United. The Cod Army came from 2-0 down to level the score before the visitors scored the winner on 78 minutes. The Irishman lined up against fellow PNE defender Marnick Vermijl who was on the winning side at Highbury after joining Scunthope United on loan on deadline day. Next up for Fleetwood is the EFL Trophy tie at Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.

Marnick Vermijl - Scunthorpe United

Belgian defender Marnick Vermijl made his debut for Scunthorpe United in their 3-2 win over Fleetwood Town, playing 82 minutes for the Iron. Vermijl had made just three appearances for PNE before joining Graham Alexander's side on loan for the rest of the season on deadline day. Scunthorpe currently sit fourth in League One and face Rotherham United at Glanford Park on Saturday.
