It’s all-change at Portman Road as North End make the long trip to face Ipswich Town this weekend.
Paul Lambert has taken charge of the Suffolk outfit and will be in the dugout for the first time when the Lilywhites visit at the weekend. It means there will be two former Norwich City managers on the touchline at the weekend!
The new Tractor Boys’ assistant Stuart Taylor is well-known to Alex Neil and Frankie McAvoy, having worked with him at Hamilton, and he was in attendance for the Lilywhites’ home game against Brentford last Tuesday night, so will know what his new side can expect.
For PNE, the month of October was a positive one, going five games unbeaten, with the likes of Callum Robinson – with four goals in the five games – and Tom Barkhuizen – three goals in the four he played – in fine form.
They begin November, a month with only four matches, looking to continue this good run of form, but are well aware of the test facing them against a manager who for the third time in his career is taking charge of a club for the first time with North End as his opponents!
