Preston North End vs Reading Match Preview

14 September 2018

The action resumes as the Lilywhites return to Deepdale after the international break looking for three points against Paul Clement’s Reading.

Both sides will feel their performances before the first enforced rest of the season deserved more points and will be looking to this next chunk of games for a chance to move up the Championship table.

It is the first of seven games in 22 days for the Lilywhites, with Alex Neil’s squad tested to its limits, with suspensions and injuries in the forward areas limiting his options, but those who get the shirt will be looking to impress and nail down a spot in the side.

Callum Robinson, who scored his first goal of the season in the last home game, returns from making his international debut for the Republic of Ireland and will look to return with another high with three points against the Royals.
