Preston North End can confirm five pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2019/20 season.
North End will kick-off the pre-season schedule with the annual trip to Bamber Bridge on Saturday 6th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
After the opening friendly at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, Alex Neil's squad will head to the Republic of Ireland for a training camp and will take on Cork City on Monday 8th July at Turner's Cross, with a 7pm kick-off.
The game will be sure to draw attention from the local in Cork with a number of Ireland internationals in the North End squad, including former Cork City hero Sean Maguire and Cork-born Alan Browne.
On their return from Ireland, the boys will then take on AFC Fylde at Mill Farm on Saturday 13th July with a 3pm kick-off, before taking on Chorley at Victory Park the following Tuesday, a 7pm kick-off on Tuesday 16th July.
The club are hoping to confirm two home friendlies on Saturday 20th July and Tuesday 23rd July in due course, and a further announcement will be made regarding these games.
The Lilywhites will then end the pre-season schedule with a trip to Fleetwood Town on Saturday 27th July with a 3pm kick-off, before the 2019/20 Championship begins on Saturday 3rd August.
