Speaking to iFollow PNE ahead of the visit of Leeds United to Deepdale, the German defender said the side were disappointed with the performance at the Madejski Stadium, but looking for their home form to continue against the side in second place in the table.

“We were really disappointed on Saturday, but we have a chance already [on Tuesday night] to show a good performance,” said the No.21. “We play against Leeds at home; we have been really good at home, shown good form and we want that to continue showing that.

“They have a really good fan base, we expect a strong side together, but we are looking to put in a good performance and win the game at home.
“We will have to be patient. The manager prepares us really well for the game and I am sure we will be ready to go.”

“We didn’t deserve to lose at Reading, but we did and now it is about bouncing back and going on another run.

“For most of the game we defended well, so to concede after 90 plus eight is frustrating.
“We didn’t show our best performance and we could have got away with a draw, but that didn’t happen and it is now about bouncing back.”
