PNE summer recruit Gallagher gets to work for The One And Only during his loan spell last season.

In this edition of ’21 Questions’, Paul Gallagher describes himself as having a quick tongue and a witty mind which explains many of his answers – unless he is actually a chain smoker who drinks too much…

1 Describe yourself in one word?
Bubbly.

2 What words or phrases do you overuse?
I know what others overuse because I am always picking them up on it! Probably ‘lad’.

3 Which living person do you most admire and why?
My mum and dad for bringing me up the right way and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them.

4 Who did you play in your first school play?
I was a shepherd or something!

5 What would be your fancy dress costume of choice?
I’ve been a few, the Pink Panther was good and I’ve been a whoopee cushion, so one of them.

6 What was your first position in your junior football team?
I played sweeper!

7 When were you most star struck?
I don’t really get star struck to be honest.

8 Pet hate?
Untidy people.

9 In which era would you most liked to have lived?
I don’t know because I’m into music from the 70s, 80s and 90s, but I think I was born in a good era; the 80s.

10 If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I quite like the thought of being able to fly so some kind of bird, an eagle maybe.

11 What’s been your biggest high?
Seeing my children being born.

12 What’s been your biggest disappointment?
I’ve had a few! I’ve lost a few Play-Off semi-final games so probably them.

13 Do you tip, and if so how much?
You don’t have a choice in America! I tip depending on the service, five or ten per cent.

14 What’s your nickname?
Gally. I can’t tell you a few of the others!

15 What song is the theme tune to your life?
Cigarettes and Alcohol by Oasis!

16 What’s the most important lesson life has taught you?
Keep your feet on the ground and be level headed.

17 What would be the title of your autobiography?
A Barrel Of Laughs With Gally!

18 What movie have you seen more than any other?
Braveheart.

19 Favourite joke?
I don’t really have jokes, I’m quite quick witted with a quick tongue instead.

20 Who is your favourite fictional hero?
I’m going to say Popeye.

21 What came first, the chicken or the egg?
I’m going with the chicken.
