Andy Little Sets His Sights On Wembley

1 September 2014

Preston North End’s Andy Little is hoping for a Wembley appearance with victory over Shrewsbury Town being the first stop on that journey.

The summer signing from Rangers has never been to the newly refurbished Wembley Stadium, and he is hoping that his first visit there will be as a player in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final than as a spectator at some point.

“I’m sure every player dreams of playing at Wembley in a cup final and we have just got to see how the early rounds go, and if we keep getting through them it becomes more of a chance and it is certainly a big ambition to play there,” said the PNE No.18 in an exclusive interview with PNE Player.

“I think it is positive to be winning any matches and I don’t think you would accept a defeat, I think you would like to keep winning.

“There are plenty of games that’s for sure, any maybe in some peoples’ opinion they would rather have less games but for me the more games the merrier.”
