Premier Test Ideal For North End Says Snodin

24 August 2015

Assistant manager Glynn Snodin is looking forward to seeing North End test themselves against Premier League opposition on Tuesday night.

PNE host Quique Flores' Watford side at Deepdale in the second round of the Capital One Cup and Snodin expects a stern test from the newly promoted side, whatever team they field for the tie.

"You always want to pitch yourself against the Premier League boys and it's nice that we have got the Cup tie to do that on Tuesday night.

"You would probably expect some changes, they played Sunday and then especially with the tough game they've got on Saturday as well, so you would  think they will change the side.

"That isn't disrespectful for us if they do change things up because their main aim is to stay in the Premier League.

"They've got a good strong squad and some good foreign imports that they've brought in so it's going to be a tough game for us regardless of who they have in their side."
